Risk notice

Advanced use of betting exchanges can create large potential loss making positions. We advise that you fully familiarise yourself with all aspects of your participation in the market before committing large amounts of money to it. Systemic risks are items such as, but not limited to; computer failure, power outages, failure of the exchange mechanism, unexpected computer crashes, equipment failure, internet outages, failure of order placement or general unexpected errors, which can occur at any time. You also have specific user risk that can occur, such as accidental use of features and misinterpretation of a market or how to participate it. We advise using practice modes or the smallest possible stake while testing experimentally. This will limit your potential losses to a small amount while you fully comprehend all the risks. Do not enter the market on large stakes until you are completely familiar with these risks. Gambling is addictive and can lead to serious losses. Always gamble responsibly:

  • Only gamble with money set aside for this activity, which you can afford to lose
  • Do it just for fun or for the challenge, rather than to gain money that you need
  • Do not chase after losses & Never borrow money to gamble

If you recognise or fear that you or anyone else may have a problem with gambling, please check out the guidance at www.gambleaware.co.uk
